Yes, all classes are delivered live online and are instructor-led.

Short-Term Certificate Programmes

No prior academic credentials are needed for the short-term certificate programmes. However, prospective students will complete the online application form and submit a passport-size photograph, and a government issued identification. 

Master of Science in Sustainable Development Practice (MDP)

The admissions criteria for the MDP is as follows:

  • Completed application form 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • A minimum of two years full-time work experience in sustainable development 
  • Two references (one from an academic source)
  • One recent passport-size photograph in color (within the last six months)
  • Resume or CV
  • Personal statement
  • An admissions interview

Certificate in Sustainable Development Practice (CDP)

Admissions criteria for the CDP are as follows:

  • Completed application form 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • One reference from an academic source
  • One recent passport-size photograph in color (within the last six months)
  • Resume or CV

International Students

Our  programmes are delivered via live online meetings; therefore, international students are not required to obtain a student visa to travel to Jamaica for classes. However, if participating in an in-person college-sponsored activity, then students must apply for and receive the appropriate travel visa (where necessary) to visit Jamaica.

International students whose native language is not English are required to submit TOEFL scores showing that they have a mastery of the Englich language.

After submitting your online application, you will receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours acknowledging receipt of your application.

The Master of Science in Sustainable Development Practice begins in September.  

All certificate programmes  begin in the September, January, and May.

If attending on a full-time basis, it is anticipated that students will complete the Master of Science in Sustainable Development Practice (MDP) in four semesters. However, if attending on a part-time basis, the program can be completed between five to six semesters. Students are allotted six years to complete the MDP.

The Certificate in Sustainable Development Practice (CDP) is designed to be completed in two semesters. Students are allotted two years for completion.

All short-term and non-degree certificate programmes range between 10-12 weeks. Students are allotted two years for completion.

Approximately 20 students are accepted in each cohort.

Tuition for the graduate programmes is $260 USD per credit for Jamaican students and $300 USD per credit for international students.

A limited number of scholarships are available for enrolled students.

A limited number of scholarships are available for students enrolled in the MDP programme.

Yes, students may enroll on a full-time or part-time basis for the graduate programmes.

Yes, transfer credits are accepted and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, flexible payment plans are available.

Yes, credit and debit cards are accepted methods of payment.
